Introducing the new TARA Q2 update

We are excited to introduce the latest TARA release, built to support the growing complexity of modern testing environments. As a no code platform, TARA helps teams create and run complex test scenarios without writing a single line of code and making automation accessible to both technical and non-technical users.

With a focus on security, usability, and flexibility, these updates help teams work more efficiently while staying in control of their data and access.

Here’s what’s new:

Outlook Email plugin compatibility
TARA’s new email plugin now works seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook mailboxes that have advanced security settings enabled.
This allows you to:
• Include outbound test emails in your test scenarios
• Validate headers, body content, and attachments directly in TARA

Deeper Microsoft Entra ID integration
Building on our existing RBA capabilities, this integration gives administrators more control over user access in TARA through Azure Entra User Groups. Define who has which access in TARA and fine-tune it per project, user group, or role with ease.

Role and Authorization overview export
You can now generate a detailed overview of all roles and permissions within TARA, grouped by application, object, and user, making access reviews easier and more transparent.

Encrypted Sensitive Placeholders in test results
Sensitive values such as environment-specific passwords are now masked and encrypted in test results, providing an added layer of security and data protection.
